Job summary

Teacher Pool seeks an IBDP Spanish Teacher to deliver IB Diploma Programme instruction for Grades 11–12 in Bengaluru. You will design inquiry-driven lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with coordinators to ensure language learning continuity across programmes.

You should have IBDP certification or IB workshop training, native-level Spanish fluency, and strong experience with IB assessment criteria.

Qualifications

• IBDP certification or IB workshop training required.
• Native or near-native Spanish fluency.
• Familiarity with IB assessment criteria and rubrics.
• Experience teaching IBDP Spanish Language B or ab initio.
• Ability to design lessons aligned with IB ATL skills.
• Strong classroom management in international schools.
• Proficiency with Google Classroom or similar LMS.
• Competent using Microsoft Office or Apple iWork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IB Diploma Programme Spanish instruction for grades 11–12.
• Design inquiry-driven, intercultural language lessons.
• Assess progress with formative and summative evaluations.
• Collaborate with MYP/DP coordinators for vertical alignment.
• Participate in IB-related professional development.
• Mentor CAS projects with a Spanish or cultural focus.

As an IBDP Spanish Teacher, you’ll play a key role in shaping globally minded learners through engaging, inquiry-based instruction aligned to the IB philosophy.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic, standards-aligned Spanish language instruction following the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) curriculum for Grades 11–12.
• Design and implement student-centered, inquiry-driven lessons that foster intercultural understanding and linguistic proficiency.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including IB external and internal assessments.
• Collaborate with MYP and DP coordinators to ensure vertical alignment and continuity in language learning pathways.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and IB-related workshops to support curriculum innovation.
• Mentor students in CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) projects with a Spanish-language or cultural focus where applicable.
