Job summary

Teacher Pool is seeking an experienced IBDP Physics teacher to design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for SL/HL across premium IB schools in India. You will lead engaging lab activities, ensure safety, and guide students through IA and exam preparation.

The role requires IB educator certification or workshop participation, and strong TOK integration and differentiation skills. On-site positions available in multiple urban/semi-urban locations in India.

Qualifications

• IBDP Physics teaching experience (minimum 2 years).
• IB Educator Certificate or IB workshop participation.
• Proficiency in IB assessment criteria (IA, Paper 1, 2, 3).
• Expertise in laboratory safety and experimental design.
• Fluency in scientific inquiry and TOK integration.
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned IBDP Physics lessons (SL/HL) covering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, and Modern Physics.
• Facilitate hands-on laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols and IB scientific inquiry standards are met.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, including IA (Internal Assessments), and provide targeted feedback.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate TOK (Theory of Knowledge) and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) into Physics learning.
• Support students in preparing for IB external examinations through structured revision, practice papers, and individual coaching.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and professional development workshops aligned with IB philosophy.
