Qualifications

• IBDP certification or IB workshop training.
• Native or near-native Spanish fluency.
• Proficiency in IB assessment criteria and rubrics.
• Experience teaching IBDP Spanish Language B or ab initio.
• Lesson planning aligned with IB ATL skills.
• Classroom management in international school settings.
• Google Classroom or similar LMS.
• Microsoft Office or Apple iWork suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic, standards-aligned Spanish language instruction following the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) curriculum for Grades 11-12.
• Design and implement student-centered, inquiry-driven lessons that foster intercultural understanding and linguistic proficiency.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including IB external and internal assessments.
• Collaborate with MYP and DP coordinators to ensure vertical alignment and continuity in language learning pathways.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and IB-related workshops to support curriculum innovation.
• Mentor students in CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) projects with a Spanish-language or cultural focus where applicable.
