Eduvacancy is seeking an experienced IBDP English Teacher to deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons and develop students’ critical thinking, literary analysis, and academic writing in line with the IB programme.

You will plan and assess student work, align instruction with IB requirements, mentor learners, and collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives. Based in Bhubaneswar, you will use technology effectively and contribute to professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English, Literature, or Education.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in schools.
• IBDP/International Curriculum experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of English Language & Literature.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to use technology effectively in teaching.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver IBDP English lessons aligned with IB curriculum requirements.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prepare students for IBDP assessments and examinations.
• Guide students with coursework, Internal Assessments, and academic writing.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Use student-centred and inquiry-based teaching approaches.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and professional development.
