Job summary

Oakridge International School, Bachupally, Hyderabad, part of Nord Anglia Education, seeks an experienced IB Diploma Programme Economics teacher for Grades 11 and 12. You will plan, deliver and assess learning that develops analytical and research skills and aligns with IB philosophy.

Ideal candidates have a Masters in Economics, a B.Ed, and at least 5 years of IB DP Economics teaching experience, with strong communication and technology integration skills.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Economics or related discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification is mandatory for India.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, including IB Diploma Programme Economics.
• Strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme, assessment practices, and IB Standards & Practices.
• Experience teaching Economics at Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL).
• Excellent lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
• High level of professional integrity and commitment to safeguarding.

JOB PURPOSE
