Job summary

ITConnectUS in Vadodara is seeking an experienced IC Designer to lead instrumentation and control design deliverables. You will develop critical IC documents, perform IDC checks, and ensure adherence to project schedules.

The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit 3D, and NAVIS Works, plus knowledge of design stages and construction practices for IC systems. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on international projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in model reviews and participation in model reviews is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and support project deliverables as per schedule.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable.
• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Revit 3D, and NAVIS Works for IC design is desirable.
• Experience with international projects and with international clients is preferred.
• Experienced IC designer with knowledge of design stages and deliverables for IC discipline.
• Prepare and review IC design deliverables independently in compliance with Quality System.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD 2D/3D and Revit 3D to develop Instrument Hook-up, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules, and layouts.
• Prepare and review Instrument Hook-up, Loop Diagrams, Tray and conduit layouts, and Cable Schedules.
• Perform Interdisciplinary Checks (IDC) of IC deliverables and other discipline drawings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Quality System requirements.

• Not Specified Experience of Participation in Model Review and Squad Check process shall have preference
• Knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification applicable is an added advantage

• Should be able to prepare and review all IC design deliverables independently in compliance with Quality System
• Knowledge of instrument installation practices and standard, construction sequence and requirements, access and egress related requirements
• Experience and hands on knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD E 3D and Revit 3D
• Responsible for performing IDC of interdisciplinary checks of IC deliverables and other discipline drawings, including ability to study and perform IDC for nozzle orientation, isometrics, piping layouts, equipment layouts, civil drawings, vessel and equipment drawings
• Demonstrate knowledge of design stages and Design Deliverables pertinent to the IC discipline
• Prepare and review Detailed Engineering Design Deliverables, including Instrument Hook-up, Loop Diagrams, Tray and conduit layouts, Trench layouts, Location Plans, Conduit wiring drawings and conduit modelling, and Cable Schedules
• Prepare and review Cable tray sizing and specifications
• Independently prepare and review all IC design deliverables in compliance with Quality System requirements
• Possess knowledge of instrument installation practices and standards, construction sequences, and requirements for access and egress
