Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Hydraulics Component Design Engineer (Specialist) for the Mobile Control valve & HMI – DC-MH Project. The role requires designing electro-hydraulic and proportional mobile hydraulic valves, joysticks, and related components.

Strong fluid mechanics knowledge and CAD capabilities are essential. The incumbent will work on valve configuration, pressure compensator and spool design, and engage in cost/weight reduction and problem solving

Qualifications

• Design and development of hydraulic products – Electro-Hydraulic and Proportional Mobile control valves and Joystick for Mobile hydraulics applications.
• Good understanding of fluid mechanics and Hydraulic Schematic and circuit design.
• Good understanding of various control systems and selection to the requirements & applications.
• Design of Pressure compensator and Spool design for Load Sensing and flow sharing control valves.
• Configuration of the Control Valve for the requirements & applications.
• Knowledge of cost/weight reduction analyses in ratio projects.
• Proficient in problem solving methods and solutioning.
• Design and manufacturing of castings, forgings and machining processes for hydraulic products.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up applications in hydraulics.
• Deliver CAD models and manufacturing drawings per ASME/ISO-GPS standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mobile Hydraulics domain knowledge is a must.
• Knowledge of injection molding parts and connector selection (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Design and development of hydraulic components for mobile control valves and HMI systems.
• Deliver CAD models and manufacturing drawings per ASME/ISO-GPS standards.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance stack-up in hydraulic assemblies.
• Implement cost and weight reduction analyses in ratio projects.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing and testing teams to ensure reliable products.
