Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a Bosch Group company, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer (Specialist) to work on the industrial welding controller project. The role covers design of die-cast components, assemblies, and alignment with system specifications.

The engineer will perform thermal simulations, select mechanical elements, interface with electronics & software, and generate manufacturing drawings and SAP BOMs. BE/B.Tech required with 8–14 years of experience.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech degree required.
• 8–14 years of design experience.
• Experience in designing plastic & aluminum die cast components and weld controllers.

Responsibilities

• Design of plastic & aluminum die cast components, assemblies for an Industrial Weld controller.
• Design and modification of components & sub-assemblies of Weld controllers.
• Understand system requirements, create concepts, and detailed designs to meet project specifications.
• Selection of standard mechanical elements, interfacing with electronics & software.
• Manufacturing and assembly drawing creation as per design standards.
• Perform thermal simulations and heat sink calculations.
• Database management and BOM creation in SAP.
• Engineering calculation & documentation.
