Job summary

JobItUs in India is seeking an Operator – Forklift & Hydra to join the production team. You will operate forklift and hydraulic equipment to move slabs, follow work instructions, and ensure safe handling of materials.

The role requires an ITI with 2-3 years of hands-on experience, teamwork, good communication, and adherence to safety procedures. Working hours are 8 hours, with 3 shifts and facility perks.

Qualifications

• ITI with 2-3 years of equipment operating experience.
• Experience operating forklift and hydraulic equipment is preferred.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow machine operation work instructions.
• Shift slabs for processing and outside angles.
• Ensure safe operation of machines and equipment.
• Provide production feedback to supervisor on breakages or cracks in marble.
• Control material breakage through safe handling.
• Adhere to all safety procedures as directed by senior staff.
• Daily check of handling tools like belts, C-clamps, and thrushels.
• Daily inspection of forklift and hydra movements for safe slab handling.

Job Title: Operator – Forklift & Hydra

Department: production

Purpose of Job: To operate the Forklift & hydra.

Principal Accountabilities

• To follow the work instruction of the machine operation.
• Shifting of slab for processing and on Outside angle.
• Ensure the proper and safe working of the machines & equipment’s.
• Providing the feedback of the production to supervisor for any Breakages / cracked in the marble.
• Control the breakage of materials by safe handling.
• Follow all the safety procedures while working as described by the senior.
• Daily Check the condition of handling instruments like, Belt, C-clamp, Thrushel for safe handling of slabs.
• Daily inspection of Forklift & hydra movement for safe handling of Slabs.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• ITI with minimum 2-3 Years work Experience of handling equipment operating.

Skills Required for the Job

• Forklift and hydra Operation, handling of marble.
