Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Hybrid Cloud Architect to design and deliver cloud transformation programs across industries. The role focuses on advising CxOs, shaping cloud strategy, and leading agile architecture engagements to enable cloud-first operating models.

Candidate should have 8–16 years of experience with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware, plus strong skills in IaC, cloud migration, and multi-cloud strategies. PAN India delivery is expected.

Role Summary

• Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Hybrid Cloud Architect role will be responsible for developing and executing the solution design for business-oriented cloud transformation requirements across industry sectors. In addition, this role will significantly focus on advising, supporting and coaching CxOs to shape their thinking for implementing the Hybrid cloud transformation agenda and driving change to operate in a cloud way of working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will be part of Cloud Go to Market global team. It is going to be an individual contributor role focused on Cloud business growth in targeted industry sectors

• Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure to meet business and technical requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between on-premise systems and public cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strategies and collaborate with the hyper scalers (eg: Microsoft, Google, AWS, VMware) to proactively engage with CxO’ and position solutions to establish strategic partnerships
• Navigate technology trends and help enterprise customers develop vendor neutral blueprints for systematic cloud adoption
• Demonstrate technology excellence to know-how and ability to position latest offerings from Cloud providers
• Design business focused cloud transformation operating models / reference architectures for cross sector clients that simplifies their target operating model in cloud ways of working
• Lead the client engagements for technical architecture to shape an agile and outcome-oriented journey to cloud, engaging with key stakeholders and cloud ecosystem partners.
• Support the relationship with hyperscaler alliances, shaping joint solutions to address our clients’ challenges
• Work with the TCS Cloud COE Units to define holistic go to market offerings around cloud strategy, target operating model and architecture. Proactively support client conversations to identify where our services can help address the business challenges they are facing
• Proactively support organizational initiatives to build assets in relation to Cloud strategy, migration, cost management, center of excellence constructs or architecture, combining your expertise with industry leading cloud transformation practices.
• Comfortable working across cross functional teams and liaising with key stakeholders using influence to negotiate outcomes in line with TCS Cloud Growth Strategy

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• Technical Sales and Technical Solution skills with deep understanding of Cloud Native and fundamentals of any of the public cloud platform
• Cloud Platforms Experience with deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) Infrastructure solutions.
• Enterprise Infrastructure solutions with strong understanding of networking, storage, compute, HA/DR, Platforms, Middleware, Containers, FinOps solutions.
• Expertise in hybrid/multi-cloud migration and assessment strategies. Experience in application migration to public cloud using Refactoring and Re-architecting approach
• Design & build disaster recovery, backups, and failover technical solutions procedures for critical systems
• Prior working experience as solution architect and Ability to engage global clients with real time scenarios, case studies, and business proposals with clear specifications about cloud technologies and the business value driven prospects.
• Experience in shaping and supporting the enrolment of cloud-based target operating model to manage cloud effectively across the organisation
• The candidate should have minimum 7-10 years of experience in Microsoft Azure/AWS/Google/VMware Cloud Infrastructure Solutions
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical challenges effectively
• Understanding of cloud operational best practice, toolsets and Resource sizing for the operation support.
• Experience automation and provisioning of cloud environments (IaC). Cloud DevOps. Utilize automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for efficient configuration and resource management solutioning
• Broad understanding and knowledge across multiple technical domains including Front-end Architecture, Services Architecture, Integration/Middleware Architecture, Security Architecture, Data architecture etc.
