Job summary

Sree Nandhee s Technologies invites an HVAC Thermal Engineer to join our team in Chennai to support the design, analysis, and optimization of HVAC and thermal management systems.

The ideal candidate will have solid grounding in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and HVAC design practices, plus familiarity with engineering drawings, specs, and equipment sizing.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Familiarity with HVAC design and equipment sizing.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and cooling load calculations for HVAC systems.
• Carry out heat transfer, thermodynamic, and fluid-flow calculations.
• Design and evaluate HVAC systems including AHU, FCU, Chiller, VRF/VRV, DX and ventilation systems.
• Support selection and sizing of HVAC equipment, heat exchangers, fans, pumps, compressors, and other components.
• Perform thermal analysis and support system simulation/testing where required.
• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, technical datasheets, and vendor documents.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation of HVAC systems.

Job Overview - HVAC Thermal Engineer

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Thermal Engineer to support the design, analysis, development, and optimization of HVAC and thermal management systems. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, HVAC systems, and thermal calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thermal and cooling load calculations for HVAC systems.
• Carry out heat transfer, thermodynamic, and fluid-flow calculations.
