TACO Air International Thermal Systems in Pune, India seeks an HVAC Design Engineer to create efficient HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and VRF/VRV setups, with accurate load calculations and robust technical specs.

You will develop schematics, layouts, equipment schedules, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and NBC standards. Strong collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Ability to perform cooling and heat load calculations using industry standards.
• Prepare schematics, layouts, equipment schedules, and technical specs.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC and applicable standards.

Responsabilités

• Design HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF/VRV, ventilation, and ducting layouts.
• Perform cooling and heat load calculations using industry standards and software tools.
• Prepare HVAC schematics, system layouts, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on project requirements and energy efficiency targets.
• Coordinate with Sales, Application Engineering, Manufacturing and Service teams to resolve issues.

Role & responsibilities

HVAC System Design & Engineering

• Design HVAC systems including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Chillers, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation systems, and ducting layouts.
• Perform cooling load and heat load calculations using industry standards and software tools.
• Prepare HVAC schematics, system layouts, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on project requirements and energy efficiency targets.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and relevant international standards.

2. Product Development & Technical Support

• Support new product development and product improvement initiatives.
• Review product performance and recommend engineering enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales, Application Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams.
• Resolve technical issues related to HVAC system performance and product applications.

3. Engineering Analysis & Validation

• Conduct performance calculations, airflow analysis, psychrometric analysis, and energy assessments.
• Validate system performance through testing and data analysis.
• Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation.
• Analyze customer requirements and propose optimized HVAC solutions.

4. Project Engineering Support

• Review project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support project execution from design stage through commissioning.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
