Job summary

YO IT Consulting in Delhi seeks a detail-oriented HVAC Junior Draughtsman to assist in the design and shop drawings for HVAC systems. You will draft layouts and coordinate with the MEP team, under guidance from HVAC engineers.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of HVAC or MEP drafting experience, an ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship, and proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP desirable). This is an office-based role in Green Park, New Delhi.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship with HVAC specialization.
• 5-8 years of experience in HVAC or MEP drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems such as chilled water, VRF, DX, ventilation, and ducting.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC layout drawings including ductwork, piping, equipment locations, and diagrams using AutoCAD or Revit MEP.
• Develop detailed shop drawings based on design inputs and site requirements.
• Update drawings per engineering markups and coordination feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs, standards, and local codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical drawings to avoid clashes.
• Maintain drawing logs and proper file organization.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.
• Support quantity take-offs and basic calculations.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC layout drawings including ductwork, piping, equipment locations, and schematic diagrams using AutoCAD or Revit MEP.


• Assist in developing detailed shop drawings based on design inputs and site requirements.


• Update and revise drawings according to engineering markups and coordination feedback.


• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).


• Coordinate with architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical drawings to avoid service clashes.


• Maintain drawing logs and proper file organization.


• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation during project close-out.


• Support quantity take-offs and basic calculations if required.

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship with HVAC specialization preferred.


• 5-8 years of experience in HVAC or MEP drafting.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.

This is 6 days work from office role with alternate Saturdays off
