Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing HVAC systems for data centers with experience of Approx. 7-8 Years.
• Conducting load calculations to determine how much heating and cooling power various equipment must put out in order to heat or cool spaces when needed.
• Ensuring that the HVAC system is designed to provide comfort air for the occupant and cooling air for the equipment.
• Understanding different HVAC design approaches such as flooded, targeted or contained air-distribution configurations.
• Identifying appropriate fire protection strategies for the particular data center based on the HVAC system configuration.
• Developing and implementing HVAC design standards and guidelines for data centers.
• Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine the feasibility of HVAC systems.
• Coordinating with other engineering disciplines such as electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Ensuring that the HVAC system is designed to provide cooling air for the equipment while maintaining appropriate parameters for temperature and humidity in different zones.
