Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking an HVAC BIM Modeler (Revit) to create, develop, and coordinate detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit. You will prepare Approval / GFC layouts, extract quantities from the BIM model, and ensure deliverables comply with BIM standards.

You will clash-detect and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection teams, participate in BIM coordination meetings, and generate material take-offs from BIM

Qualifications

• Experience creating and coordinating 3D BIM models for HVAC using Autodesk Revit.
• Ability to perform clash detection and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and LOD requirements.
• Experience producing HVAC shop drawings, sections, schedules, and detailed installation drawings.

• Perform clash detection and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve coordination issues.
• Extract quantities and generate material take-offs from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and client specifications.
• Support BIM Coordinators and Project Engineers during project execution.
