Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company in India is seeking an HR Operations Analyst to support APAC payroll and benefits administration across India and other APAC regions.

You will assist Payroll Senior Analysts, coordinate with third-party providers, maintain employee data, and ensure compliance across payroll systems. The role emphasizes customer service, data integrity, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate in any discipline who is passionate in making an impact to our employees by creating a differentiated employee experience.
  • Solid experience in day-to-day processing in managing India payroll is a must.
  • Benefit administration experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude including AI, Intermediate level of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Organised, proactive and detail orientated.
  • Demonstration of good inter-personal capability.
  • High level of learning agility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration of payroll across APAC.
  • Be the initial point of contact for employees regarding HR systems and queries.
  • Coordinate with our third-party payroll provider to ensure accurate settings in HR systems.
  • Maintain latest employee data in HR systems, including payroll, absence management and time attendance.
  • Administer employee benefits (group medical, group life, etc.) for APAC regions.
  • Handle employee inquiries relating to payroll, benefits and absence, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
  • Support communication tools to enhance understanding of the employee value proposition.
  • Audit benefit and payroll data within APAC HR Operations to maintain data integrity.
  • Process invoices by reconciling, tracking and obtaining authorisation on time.

Job description

Purpose

The Human Resources Operations Analyst will provide administrative services to support the APAC Human Resources Operations Team in managing the day-to-day payroll and benefits administration for APAC regions including but not limited to India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Payroll Senior Analysts and Human Resources Operations APAC Lead with the day-to-day administration of payroll across APAC
  • Being an initial point of contact for employees in relation to the administration of Human Resources systems and demonstrate the confidence and knowledge to bring any queries to a satisfactory and timely resolution
  • Effectively communicate with our third-party payroll provider to make sure all required settings accurately in the respective Human Resources systems
  • Maintaining latest employee data in Human Resources including but not limited to payroll system, absence management and time attendance systems, providing guidance to employees and managers as required
  • Administration of a range of employee benefits including group medical, group life etc for all APAC regions
  • Responsible for employee’s enquiry relating to payroll, benefits and absence, ensuring compliance with statutory notification and reporting requirements
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
  • Support communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's employee value proposition.
  • Support auditing of benefit and payroll data within the APAC Human Resources Operations Team both to maintain data integrity
  • Administer invoices by reconciling, tracking and obtaining authorisation within agreed timescales
  • Handle any ad-hoc assignments as required
