Job summary

Vegrow in Bengaluru is hiring an HRBP Lead to own the people strategy across multiple business functions, lead and grow a team of HR Business Partners, and drive the org design and transformation agenda that scales a fast-moving startup.

You will partner with senior leaders, shape workforce planning, performance, engagement, and retention, and build scalable HR systems and leadership capability across the organization. This is a senior, high-ownership role with regular travel.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR / HRBP experience, including partnering with senior leadership and leading people or transformation projects.
• MBA / PGDM in HR from a reputed B-School.
• Proven track record of driving org design and transformation initiatives at scale.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch; you thrive in a start-up environment.
• Willing to travel regularly to regional and field locations.
• Strong business acumen and executive stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an HRBP Lead to own the people strategy across multiple business functions, lead and grow a team of HR Business Partners, and as a core priority drive the org design and transformation agenda that scales the company. A senior, high-ownership role for someone who blends sharp business partnering with the ability to build systems, teams, and culture in a fast-moving start-up.

Lead the HRBP Function

• Build, mentor, and grow a team of HRBPs; set the operating rhythm, standards, and priorities for how HR partners the business.
• Own the end-to-end people agenda for your business groups: workforce planning, talent, performance, engagement, and retention.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, shaping org health and translating business strategy into people outcomes.

Drive Org Design & Transformation

• Lead or co-lead org-wide projects and transformation interventions end-to-end, from problem definition and design to rollout and adoption.
• Own organisation design at scale: role architecture, spans and layers, restructures, and change management as the business grows.
• Build talent development, succession, and leadership capability frameworks for critical roles across the organisation.
• Shape engagement, culture, and the rewards model: surveys and action planning, benchmarking, and pay-for-performance frameworks.

What We're Looking For

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR / HRBP experience, including partnering with senior leadership and leading people or transformation projects, preferably across Agri, FMCG, or E-Commerce.
• MBA / PGDM in HR from a reputed B-School.
• Proven track record of driving org design and transformation initiatives at scale.
