Job summary

Mantras2Success Consultants is seeking a seasoned HSE professional to oversee health, safety and environmental systems across the plant in Gujarat. You will implement and monitor regulatory compliance, drive ESG initiatives, and lead audits and training.

The role requires 3–5 years in EHS/ESG with manufacturing exposure, strong documentation, and the ability to manage permits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and ESG compliance.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HSE management systems including policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and corporate HSE requirements (GPCB, DISH, PESO, etc.)
  • Maintain statutory records such as CTE, CCA, Hazardous Waste Returns, Environmental Statements, etc.
  • Prepare and manage compliance calendars for regulatory submissions
  • Monitor Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems, including ETP/STP operations
  • Oversee waste management: hazardous, biomedical, e-waste, and plastic waste disposal
  • Ensure adherence to environmental norms and audit requirements
  • Drive ESG initiatives and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with corporate teams for HSE alignment and continuous improvement
  • Conduct internal HSE audits, inspections, and safety committee meetings
  • Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and workplace safety evaluations
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents, accidents, and near misses
  • Conduct HSE training programs for employees and contractors
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the organization
  • Manage site emergency plans and conduct mock drills
  • Oversee fire safety systems including extinguishers, hydrants, and alarms
  • Maintain Occupational Health Center (OHC) in coordination with Factory Medical Officer
  • Implement and manage work permit systems, including contractor safety
  • Ensure safety compliance in plant expansions and project execution
  • Prepare and manage HSE budgets
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Education

BE in Mechanical / Electrical
Post Graduate in Environmental Science
Post Diploma in Industrial Safety
Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety

Job description

Qualification Requirements:
  • BE in Mechanical / Electrical OR

  • Post Graduate in Environmental Science with:

    • Post Diploma in Industrial Safety OR

    • Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized State Regional Labor Institute

Experience Requirements:

Role Objective:

To ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of HSE systems, regulatory compliance, and ESG practices across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

HSE Systems & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain HSE management systems including policies, procedures, and documentation

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and corporate HSE requirements (GPCB, DISH, PESO, etc.)

  • Maintain statutory records such as CTE, CCA, Hazardous Waste Returns, Environmental Statements, etc.

Environmental Management
