Catalyst Brands is seeking an HR Onboarding Support Specialist (Contract – 6 Months) to assist store associates, managers, and internal partners through the onboarding process. You will be the first contact for onboarding inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with HR Ops, Payroll, IT, and HR Systems teams to ensure timely completion.

The role requires strong English communication, problem-solving, and a proactive approach with minimal supervision in a multi-location retail environment.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting retail operations or multi-location environments.
• Exposure to PeopleSoft HRMS, Oracle HCM, or other HR technology platforms.
• Knowledge of HR Operations, Payroll, Employee Data Management, or Shared Services processes.
• Experience with case management tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Take calls/emails/remedy tickets from store managers/employees regarding onboarding challenges or questions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide level 1 resolutions; escalate to level 2 with Remedy/email to IT, HR Ops or Payroll as needed.
• Follow-up to ensure stores complete onboarding successfully.

About the Role

Catalyst Brands is seeking a highly motivated HR Onboarding Support Specialist to support our store associates, managers, and internal business partners throughout the employee onboarding process. This role serves as the first point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries, troubleshooting system and process issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring new hires complete onboarding activities accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of resolving issues independently while collaborating effectively with HR Operations, Payroll, IT, and HR Systems teams.

Keys responsibilities:

• 1. Take calls/emails/remedy tickets from store managers/ employees regarding onboarding challenges/ questions
• 2. Troubleshoot the issue and come up with level 1 resolutions and if level 2 support is required then is able to create remedy ticket/ email level 2 team (IT, HR Ops, Payroll) to resolve/ provide support
• 3. Follow-up and be able to support stores successfully complete onboarding.

Key skills:

• 1. Ability to communicate fluently in English - written, oral and through tickets.
• 2. Problem solving ability - be able to understand the basic technology/ process challenges and trouble shoot with the store manager as well as the backend teams - IT and Payroll to resolve the issue
• 3. Have a sense of urgency and understand the importance and implications of completion of the onboarding process on time
• 4. Ability to learn process/ technical trouble shooting with minimal training and documentation
• 5. Critical thinking skills - able to connect the dots and identify the root cause of the problem and loop in the right teams to resolve onboarding issues.
• 6. Self-organized and able to execute the job responsibilities with minimum supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
