Qualifications

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support the Workday application and related integrations, focusing on U.S. benefits administration.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to Workday HR and benefits processes.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy bug fixes and minor enhancements as directed by the Riverbed IT Delivery Manager.
• Support and enhance inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third‑party vendors (benefits providers, payroll, and related boundary systems).
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and application services teams to understand upcoming changes and new functionality.
• Capture functional requirements as Jira tickets and contribute to technical design documentation.
• Perform testing and validation activities and document results within Jira.
• Publish release notes, feature documentation, and transition materials in Confluence.
• Manage and track a queue of tickets, including prioritization and assignment when required.
• Ensure production stability, timely communication, and adherence to service levels.

Position

HRIS Developer – Workday specialization (U.S. benefits administration). Location: Bangalore, India (requires minimum 3 hours daily overlap with U.S. business hours). The role supports the IT Customer Experience / HRIS function and collaborates with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT Delivery teams to maintain stable operations, resolve issues quickly, and deliver enhancements and projects related to U.S. benefits.

• Programming and scripting: Java, Python, or similar languages used in integration development.
• Secure data transfer: SFTP, encryption concepts, integration security and authentication.
• Development practices: testing methodologies, error handling, logging, root‑cause analysis.
