Synechron is seeking an HRIS Analyst to optimize Workday Absence Management and core HCM processes in Pune, India. You will collaborate with HR, Legal, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, policy alignment, and smooth system operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration of absence plans, accruals, and leave types, plus resolving issues and supporting data loads and audits. A minimum of 2+ years of Workday experience is required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Workday experience with hands-on Absence & HCM configurations.
  • Proven ability to independently configure absence and leave plans end-to-end, including accrual logic, carryover rules, and leave of absence management - with minimal need for direction or oversight.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

HRIS Analyst – Workday Absence & HCM Role Overview

The HRIS Analyst supports the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Absence Management and core HCM. This role partners closely with HR, Legal, and internal application teams to ensure absence plans and employee data are accurately maintained, compliant, and aligned with company policy.
