Job summary

Synechron in Pune is seeking an HRIS Analyst to manage Workday Absence Management and core HCM configurations. You will configure absence plans and accruals, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with HR, Legal, and IT to ensure compliant, policy-aligned system setup.

Responsibilities include supporting data loads, audits, and release reviews, plus documentation of processes and test scripts. Candidates need 2+ years of Workday experience with hands-on Absence & HCM configuration.

Qualifications

• Independently configure absence and leave plans end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

HRIS Analyst – Workday Absence & HCM Role Overview

The HRIS Analyst supports the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Absence Management and core HCM. This role partners closely with HR, Legal, and internal application teams to ensure absence plans and employee data are accurately maintained, compliant, and aligned with company policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain absence plans, accrual policies, and time off types in Workday
• Support core HCM functions including org management, job and position data, and business process configuration
• Troubleshoot and resolve absence and HCM-related system issues and employee/manager inquiries
• Partner with HR and Legal to translate policy changes into system configuration
• Collaborate with internal application teams on absence data flows and downstream system impacts
