Job summary

Zepto is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner in Chennai to collaborate with business leaders and drive HR strategies aligned with objectives. You will manage onboarding, performance, and employee lifecycle, while supporting talent development, workforce planning, and change initiatives.

Responsibilities include employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and data-driven HR reporting. Strong communication and proficiency in HRIS (SAP/Workday/SuccessFactors) are essential.

Qualifications

  • Partner with business leaders to drive HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, performance, and exits.
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, appraisals, and talent development initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics and MIS reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support workforce planning and hiring needs.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance culture, productivity, and retention.
  • Coach and guide managers on people management, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead change management initiatives and support organizational transformation projects.
  • Maintain HR documentation, HRIS records, and ensure data accuracy.
