Job summary

Bayer is seeking a SAP HR / Workday specialist to manage compensation, benefits, and salary inputs on SAP HR & Workday for India. This fixed-term 12-month contract role involves merit increases, final settlements, and payroll data management.

The role requires 3+ years in SAP HR / SAP HCM or Workday, with strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of HR processes. Collaboration with auditors and accounting is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate (Commerce) with Post Graduate preferred and 3+ years in end-to-end SAP HR / SAP HCM / Workday.
• Strong knowledge in HR processes and modules linked to SAP & Workday.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel; data-savvy with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle correspondence letters for employees.
• Salary input in SAP & Workday system.
• Final settlement of employees and understanding accruals and personal taxation.
• STI / Merit increase processing for employees (salary revision).
• Maintain employee data (PAN, bank details) in SAP & Workday.
• Prepare comparison reports and analyze salary outcomes.
• Process various employee payments per HR policies.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues as required.
• Coordinate with Auditors and accounting for day-to-day operations.

ROLE PURPOSE

Enable the organization to effectively manage SAP HR & Workday activities related to Compensation & Benefits, Salary input, Full & final settlement, Merit Increase for the Bayer group companies in India.

This position is on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months on Bayer payroll

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling correspondence letters for employees.
• Salary input in SAP & Workday system.
• Final settlement of Employees, understanding pf accruals and personal taxation.
• STI / Merit increase of Employees ( Salary revision ).
• Maintaining database of Employees like PAN no.,Bank a/c. no. etc. in SAP & Workday.
• Preparing Comparison report and analyzing the salary outcome
• Processing various payments to Employees on the basis of HR policies.
• Handling trouble shooting and escalating issues as and when required.
• Checking of various provisions like Bonus, Gratuity, STI etc.
• Liaise with Auditors and accounting team for day-today operations

WHO YOU ARE

• Graduate (Commerce-Preferred) + Post Graduate (preferred) with at least 3+ years of experience in end to end SAP HR / SAP HCM/Workday.
• Strong knowledge in HR processes and modules linked to SAP & Workday.
• Minimum 3 - 4 years experience preferably in similar profiles.
• Proficient in MS office and Excel.Number Savvy, analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Decisive and efficient in dealing with challenges and process issues.
