Job summary

Bayer AG in India is seeking a skilled professional to manage SAP HR and Workday activities related to compensation and benefits. Responsibilities include salary input, final settlements, and merit increases for Bayer group companies in India.

This fixed-term contract spans 12 months on Bayer payroll. The candidate should bring 3+ years in SAP HR/SAP HCM/Workday with strong HR process knowledge and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate (Commerce) preferred with 3+ years of experience in end-to-end SAP HR / SAP HCM / Workday.
• Strong knowledge in HR processes and modules linked to SAP & Workday.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel; detail-oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Handle correspondence letters for employees.
• Enter salary data in SAP & Workday systems.
• Manage final settlements and assessments of accruals and taxes.
• Oversee STI / merit increases and salary revisions.
• Maintain employee master data (PAN, bank details) in SAP & Workday.
• Prepare comparison reports and analyse salary outcomes.
• Process payments to employees per HR policies.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Auditors and accounting team for day-to-day ops.

ROLE PURPOSE

Enable the organization to effectively manage SAP HR & Workday activities related to Compensation & Benefits,

Salary input, Full & final settlement, Merit Increase for the Bayer group companies in India.

This position is on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months on Bayer payroll

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling correspondence letters for employees.
• Salary input in SAP & Workday system.
• Final settlement of Employees, understanding pf accruals and personal taxation.
• STI / Merit increase of Employees ( Salary revision ).
• Maintaining database of Employees like PAN no.,Bank a/c. no. etc. in SAP & Workday.
• Preparing Comparison report and analyzing the salary outcome
• Processing various payments to Employees on the basis of HR policies.
• Handling trouble shooting and escalating issues as and when required.
• Checking of various provisions like Bonus, Gratuity, STI etc.
• Liaise with Auditors and accounting team for day-today operations

WHO YOU ARE

• Graduate (Commerce-Preferred) + Post Graduate (preferred) with at least 3+ years of experience in end to end SAP HR / SAP HCM/Workday.
• Strong knowledge in HR processes and modules linked to SAP & Workday.
• Minimum 3 - 4 years experience preferably in similar profiles.
• Proficient in MS office and Excel.
• Number Savvy, analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Decisive and efficient in dealing with challenges and process issues.
• Able to work well in a team environment, communicate, mediate and solve problems with internal
