Qualifications

• 8–12 years of HR & Social Compliance experience.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR & Compliance Head with strong knowledge of social compliance, factory audits, labour laws, and HR operations, particularly Zara/Inditex social compliance requirements. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring complete HR, statutory, ethical, and social compliance of the factory.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the HR, Admin & Compliance functions of the garment manufacturing unit.
• Manage and prepare the factory for Inditex/Zara, Sedex, BSCI, SMETA and other social compliance audits.
• Strong knowledge of Inditex/GTW requirements, Code of Conduct and audit protocols.
• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, labour laws, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, POSH and other applicable laws.
• Maintain all statutory registers, records, licences and compliance documentation.
• Conduct regular internal compliance audits and identify gaps before external audits.
• Prepare CAP/CAR and corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain proper employee personal files, attendance, wages, overtime, leave and working-hour records.
• Ensure compliance with working hours, weekly off, overtime, wages and employee welfare requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, buyers, consultants and external agencies during audits.
• Handle worker interviews, grievance mechanisms, disciplinary procedures and worker communication.
• Develop and implement HR & Compliance SOPs, policies and systems.
• Monitor health & safety, welfare facilities, housekeeping and worker welfare in coordination with Admin/EHS teams.
• Ensure proper implementation of ethical recruitment and no forced/child labour requirements.
• Prepare monthly HR & Compliance MIS and management reports.
• Train HR, Admin, Supervisors and workers on social compliance and audit requirements.
• Keep the organization updated on changes in labour laws and buyer compliance requirements.
• Lead the complete audit preparation, audit execution, CAP closure and follow-up process.

Key Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in HR & Social Compliance, preferably in a garment export/manufacturing company.
• Strong practical knowledge of Zara/Inditex social compliance and GTW audits.
• Experience handling Sedex/SMETA, BSCI and other buyer audits.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of audit documentation, CAP preparation and corrective action implementation.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, HR MIS and compliance documentation.
