Job summary

Nebius is seeking an HR Business Partner for India to provide hands-on HR support to managers and employees nationwide. You will work with global HR teams to adapt company-wide programs to local requirements and organizational needs.

Responsibilities include onboarding, performance, compensation, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with Indian employment laws. Travel within India is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of broad HR experience in India.
• Experience as HRBP or HR manager or senior HR generalist.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and compensation and benefits.
• Knowledge of Indian employment practices and statutory obligations.
• Experience handling investigations and performance concerns.
• Experience building or improving HR policies and processes.
• Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working with global HR teams in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in technology, engineering, cloud, AI infrastructure is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel within India.

• Use employee feedback and workforce data to identify risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.

The role

The HR Business Partner, India will provide hands-on HR support to managers and employees across the country. The role will ensure Nebius has the local support needed to scale effectively.

You will work closely with global HR teams while adapting company-wide programs to local requirements and the needs of the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide practical HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance, compensation processes, engagement, retention and exits.

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of broad HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or senior HR generalist in India.
• Strong hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management, HR operations, compensation and benefits, and local policy implementation.
• Practical knowledge of Indian employment practices, labor requirements, and statutory obligations.
• Experience managing investigations, performance concerns.
• Experience building or improving HR policies, processes, and tools in a growing organization.
• Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Experience working with global HR teams in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in technology, engineering, cloud, AI infrastructure, or another fast-growing industry is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel within India.
