Job summary

BEI Technologies is seeking an HPDC Automation Installation and Service Engineer with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in HPDC automation installation, commissioning and service. The role is Faridabad-based with travel to customer sites across India, offering diverse exposure across multiple projects.

The candidate will install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain HPDC systems, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure safe, timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of HPDC automation experience.
• Hands-on installation, commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
• PLC and HMI programming skills; Mitsubishi experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel across India.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service HPDC automation systems and peripheral equipment.
• Carry out electrical wiring, panel connections, mechanical assembly, alignment and system testing.
• Program, modify and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
• Support robot setup and troubleshooting; Fanuc or ABB programming experience is preferred.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and automation faults.
• Conduct equipment trials, provide basic customer training and complete machine handover.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams and maintain installation and service reports.
• Complete site activities safely and within agreed timelines.

About the Role

• Willingness to travel across India.

Immediate joiners or candidates available within 30 days are preferred. This position requires direct HPDC automation experience; general electrical maintenance experience alone is insufficient.
