Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage Linux systems and HPC clusters for a 12-month engagement.

You will deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads using Slurm, and ensure fast, secure networking and storage for scientific workloads. The role requires 6–9 years of relevant experience with strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and automation (Ansible).

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in systems administration.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/SLES/Ubuntu) in HPC environments.
• Experience with Slurm and HPC cluster management.
• Strong scripting: Python and Bash; Ansible is a plus.
• Familiarity with HPC storage and networks.
• Security and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, SLES, Ubuntu).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot HPC clusters and physical infrastructure.
• Manage Slurm-based job scheduling and resource management.
• Monitor cluster health, utilization, performance, and resource allocation.
• Manage parallel file systems such as BeeGFS and GPFS.
• Support high-speed networking technologies including InfiniBand, Ethernet, and RoCE.
• Install, configure, compile, and maintain MPI, compilers, debuggers, and scientific applications.
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot Linux, cluster, networking, storage, and job scheduling issues.
• Support users and maintain technical documentation.
• Implement security and compliance best practices.
• Support containers and microservices for HPC/scientific workloads.
