Job summary

Vrinda International is seeking an experienced HPC Administrator to manage large-scale Linux compute clusters for scientific and AI workloads in Bengaluru. You will optimize job throughput, maintain cluster health, and ensure security and reliability in an on-site environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Slurm or PBS Pro, InfiniBand networking, cluster management tools, and automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Experience with Slurm and/or PBS Pro on HPC clusters.
• Proficient in InfiniBand HDR/NDR networking.
• Experience with HPCM or Bright Cluster Manager or equivalent.
• Proficient with SSH, NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and related services.
• Knowledge of OSI model and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux compute and login nodes.
• Manage HPC schedulers and optimize job throughput.
• Monitor and troubleshoot InfiniBand fabrics.
• Maintain cluster availability, scalability and performance.
• Implement automation, monitoring and security controls.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced High-Performance Computing (HPC) Administrator to manage, optimize and maintain large-scale Linux-based compute clusters for scientific, engineering and AI workloads.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Slurm and/or PBS Pro
• InfiniBand networking - HDR/NDR
• HPE Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM), Bright Cluster Manager or equivalent
