Job summary

Atos SE in Noida is seeking an experienced HPC & Linux Systems Administrator to maintain high‑performance computing environments, manage Linux‑based infrastructure, and support mission‑critical workloads.

You will troubleshoot hardware, work with Lustre/GPFS, InfiniBand, and workload managers such as PBS/Slurm, and contribute to 24x7 operations with automation via shell scripts and Ansible.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in Linux System Administration and/or HPC Administration.
  • Strong expertise in Linux operating systems and server administration.
  • Experience with HPC cluster administration (Torque, Moab, OpenHPC, Bright Cluster, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting high-end servers and storage infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Lustre and/or GPFS administration.
  • Good understanding of InfiniBand (IB) technology.
  • Experience with workload managers such as PBS or Slurm.
  • Shell scripting skills for automation and system management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 support environment.

  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Provide support in a 24x7 operational environment as required.

Context

We are seeking an experienced HPC & Linux Systems Administrator. This position is critical to maintaining ongoing service delivery and meeting customer commitments. The role directly supports revenue‑generating activities, and timely backfilling is essential to ensure uninterrupted operations and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administer and support High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
  • Manage Linux-based infrastructure and system administration activities.
