Job summary

Vrinda International is seeking an experienced HPC Administrator to manage and optimize large-scale Linux compute clusters for scientific, engineering and AI workloads.

You will administer Linux compute and login nodes, manage schedulers, monitor InfiniBand fabrics, and ensure high availability and performance. The role emphasizes automation with Bash, Python, and Ansible, on-site in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HPC administration experience.
• Hands-on with Slurm or PBS Pro in large clusters.
• Experience with InfiniBand HDR/NDR networking.
• Familiarity with HPC management tools like HPCM/Bright Cluster Manager.
• Proficiency in Linux services (SSH, NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP).
• Understanding of OSI model and cluster security basics.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced High-Performance Computing (HPC) Administrator to manage, optimize and maintain large-scale Linux-based compute clusters for scientific, engineering and AI workloads.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Slurm and/or PBS Pro
• InfiniBand networking - HDR/NDR
• HPE Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM), Bright Cluster Manager or equivalent
• SSH, NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and related services
• Understanding of OSI model

MONITORING & AUTOMATION

• Cluster provisioning, health checks & performance tuning
• OS image deployment and firmware updates
