We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private household. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of the household, manage staff, care for pets, handle the needs of household guests, and oversee kitchen management, housekeeping, maintenance, inventory, and other related tasks. This is a leadership role, requiring a hands‑on, detail‑oriented individual who can anticipate and meet the needs of a high‑standard home environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Household Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the household to ensure everything runs efficiently.
  • Manage household schedules and ensure that all family members, guests, and pets have their needs met.
  • Plan and coordinate family events, dinners, and other household activities.
  • Create and maintain household manuals, processes, and checklists.
  • Maintain a personalized care plan for senior residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and medical needs are met.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule regular check‑ups, medical appointments, and any in‑home care services.
  • Ensure that medications are taken as prescribed and manage prescription refills.
  • Assist with mobility needs, ensuring that the house is arranged for ease of movement and safety.
  • Organize leisure activities, hobbies, and social engagement for seniors to promote mental and emotional well‑being.
  • Coordinate special dietary requirements, ensuring all meals meet health and nutrition guidelines for seniors.
  • Be a compassionate listener and provide companionship as needed
2. Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and manage all household staff including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, ( future-nannies, gardeners), and other support staff.
  • Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and workload balance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Resolve conflicts among staff and ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
3. Guest Management:
  • Greet, welcome, and cater to the needs of household guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable.
  • Manage guest accommodations, meals, and entertainment requirements.
  • Plan for and oversee guest itineraries, transportation, and any special requests.
4. Pet Care:
  • Coordinate daily care for all household pets, including feeding, exercise, grooming, and medical appointments.
  • Ensure that pet supplies are well‑stocked and manage relationships with veterinarians and pet care providers.
5. Kitchen and Pantry Management:
  • Oversee kitchen staff and work closely with chefs to plan meals according to family preferences and dietary needs.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and timely meal preparation.
  • Maintain inventory of pantry items and grocery shopping as needed.
  • Create and manage meal schedules for the family and guests.
  • Prevent wastage
6. Housekeeping and Maintenance:
  • Ensure that the household is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Oversee and schedule regular cleaning, laundry services, and linen management.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for regular maintenance, repairs, and deep cleaning.
  • Oversee all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot and arrange repairs for household appliances and systems when necessary.
7. Inventory and Supply Management:
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all household supplies, including groceries, cleaning products, toiletries,medicines, etc and personal items.
  • Ensure efficient procurement and replenishment of household items.
  • Manage the stock of linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other essentials.
8. Budgeting and Reporting:
  • Manage the household budget and track all household expenses.
  • Prepare regular expense reports and provide financial transparency to homeowners.
  • Handle household bill payments and vendor negotiations.
9. Security and Safety:
  • Implement and oversee home security measures and protocols.
  • Ensure the house is compliant with safety regulations and emergency procedures are in place.
  • Future requirement ( for new house under construction) Supervise any security personnel and coordinate with alarm and security system providers.
10. Event Planning:
  • Organize and oversee household events, family gatherings, and special occasions.
  • Work closely with catering, event planners, and other vendors to execute flawless events.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a House Manager or similar role in a private household or estate.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
