2COMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Manager – Quality to lead quality control for ferro alloys and minerals in merchant export houses. You will manage supplier quality, inspections, audits, and dispute resolution from Kolkata.

The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, engineering/Science background, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems to maintain accurate QC records and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Science graduate.
• Certification in Quality Management preferred/required.
• 7–10 years of ferro alloys/minerals quality control experience.
• Experience handling testing/inspection agencies and export quality checks.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier quality, audits, quality ratings, and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality consistency across lots and shipments.
• Establish and supervise inspection protocols through independent testing/inspection agencies.
• Ensure complete quality documentation and QC trail for export and domestic shipments.
• Maintain customer-wise historical quality data and resolve quality disputes.
• Conduct periodic quality inspections of stocks stored for more than one month.
• Develop and execute an annual supplier audit programme.
• Coordinate with suppliers, inspection agencies, customers, and internal teams on quality matters.

Job Summary
