The candidate will manage lab operations, calibrate equipment, enforce SOPs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate product consistency.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of hands‑on QC/QA experience in industrial minerals or mineral processing.
• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc. in chemical, mineral, metallurgical, mechanical engineering or related field.
• Deep expertise in moisture and purity testing and raw material inspection.
• Experience leading quality systems and process quality monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management: oversee and optimize QC/QA processes from raw materials to dispatch.
• Inspection & Testing: supervise testing of incoming materials, in-process materials and finished goods, including moisture and grade testing.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: work with Production, R&D, Purchase and Operations to resolve quality issues.
• Laboratory Leadership: lead lab operations, calibrate equipment, enforce SOPs, manage site quality team.
• Continuous Improvement: use quality data to drive improvements and reduce rejection rates.

Role & responsibilities

• Quality Management: Manage, monitor, and optimize the overall QC/QA processes for industrial mineral products from raw material to dispatch.
• Inspection & Testing: Oversee rigorous testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, including moisture, purity, and grade testing.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Production, R&D, Purchase, and Operations teams to pinpoint root causes of variances and swiftly resolve quality issues.
• Laboratory Leadership: Lead laboratory operations, calibrate testing equipment, enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manage the site quality team.
• Continuous Improvement: Leverage data from process quality monitoring to drive continuous improvement initiatives, minimize rejection rates, and elevate overall product consistency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 10 to 15 years of hands‑on experience in QC/QA within the industrial minerals or mineral processing industry.
• Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc. in Chemical, Mineral, Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in moisture and purity testing, raw material inspection, quality systems, and process quality monitoring.
• Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred (0 to 15 days or currently serving notice).
