Job summary

MPS Limited in Chennai is seeking a Books Project Manager to oversee the complete pre-publishing process for books, coordinating with authors, publishers, reviewers, and editors.

You will maintain project status across all stages, coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines, and present progress and timelines to clients.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in books publishing, experience leading a Books Team, and strong interpersonal skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in books publishing.
• Experience in handling Books Team / Project Manager.
• Involved in book/Journals e-publishing by coordinating across teams, authors, and clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with authors, publishers, reviewers, and editors via email, meetings, and calls.
• Maintain complete project status through all stages until completion.
• Track and ensure on-time project delivery with internal stakeholders.

Books Project Manager

• Responsible for complete process of Books Pre- Publishing process.
• Active coordination with Authors, Publishers, Reviewers, and, Editors via email, virtual meetings, and phone call.
• Complete understanding of the client's requirements and communication with internal teams
• Maintain project status throughout all stages until the project is completed
• Coordination with internal stakeholders to track and ensure project completion on time
• Present an overview of project status and timeline adherence.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in books publishing.
• Experience in handling Books Team /Project Manager.
• To be involved in book/Journals e-publishing business by coordinating across various teams, authors, and clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills is a must.

Notice Period: 30 days notice is acceptable and Immediate joiners will be preferred.
