Job summary

Tranzeal is seeking a network engineering specialist based in Bengaluru to manage routing and switching across BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS and VLANs with strong firewall/VPN exposure.

The role requires hands-on firmware and OS upgrades for major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and robust change management to coordinate maintenance windows and rollbacks. Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Expertise in routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, STP, VLANs) with exposure to firewall/VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with firmware/OS upgrades of major network vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Strong change management: plan, risk assess, coordinate maintenance windows, perform rollbacks.
• Experience with patch deployment and Patch Management, verification, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance windows and change windows.
• Perform firmware/OS upgrades and patch deployments across vendors.
• Monitor device health, firmware versions and performance metrics.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and coordinate rollback if needed.
