The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing websites to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), driving organic traffic, and improving overall online visibility. This role involves keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and performance analysis.
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for ranking
- Optimize website content (titles, meta descriptions, headings, etc.)
- Perform technical SEO audits (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing issues)
- Build and manage backlink strategies
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Analyze competitors and identify SEO gaps
- Collaborate with content writers and developers
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Knowledge of tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data and generate insights
