SAI Life Sciences in Hyderabad's R&D campus is seeking a MSc in Medicinal Chemistry with 1–6 years of hands-on experience to contribute to medicinal chemistry projects. The role involves evaluating analytical data, performing purification steps, and supporting discovery efforts within a vibrant team.

The candidate should be proficient in LCMS/NMR data interpretation, possess strong communication skills, and be familiar with ChemDraw and related databases to advance drug discovery initiatives.

Qualifications

• MSc in Medicinal Chemistry is required.
• Experience with analytical data interpretation (LCMS/NMR) is preferred.
• Experience with discovery chemistry or CRO environments is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Apply knowledge of name reactions, lab unit ops and purification techniques.
• Interpret analytical data (LCMS, NMR, chiral and achiral analyses) for structure confirmation.
• Follow safety practices in laboratory operations.
• Use ChemDraw and other databases for project work.
• Collaborate with the chemistry team and communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities : -

• Knowledge of name reactions, range of laboratory unit operations & purification techniques
• Knowledge on evaluating the Analytical data interpretation skills (LCMS, NMR, Chiral, Achiral analyses, structure confirmation)
• Knowledge of safety practices in laboratory operations
• Exposure to ChemDraw and other databases
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience, preferably with a Discovery CRO / Medicinal chemistry / Advance Purification techniques, Multi step synthesis.
