Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a senior data QA professional to design end-to-end data testing strategies and drive data QA capabilities. The role involves validating on-prem to Azure migrations, automating test cases with Sparknotebooks, and building reusable frameworks for data quality checks, reconciliation, and regression testing.

You will work closely with data engineers and cloud teams in an agile setup, using advanced SQL for validation and anomaly detection, and evaluating

Qualifications

• Monitoring & quality checks.
• Produce QA reports and support release / post-deployment validation.
• Work closely with data engineers and cloud teams in an agile setup.
• 9+ years of experience in data testing / data QA.
• Strong handson SQL skills for large datasets.
• Experience testing data warehouses / lakehouses.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms, preferably Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with onprem to cloud data migration testing.
• Strong understanding of: Test strategy & planning; Test case design; Automation & regression testing; Use of AI solutions like copilot as accelerators.
• Experience automating test cases using notebooks.
