Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru, India is seeking an embedded/automotive test engineer to execute HiL and SiL tests on ECUs and validation frameworks. You will apply your automation skills to build and run automated test cases using Python and Perl, and analyze results to improve reliability.

You'll work with CAN, CAN FD, LIN and UDS diagnostics, and use tools such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, and MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Experience in HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SiL (Software-in-the-Loop) test execution for embedded/automotive systems.
• Strong programming and test automation skills using Python and/or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with ECU validation, automated test case development, and test result analysis.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and UDS Diagnostics.
• Experience with tools like Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, defect tracking, Automotive SPICE, and ISO 26262 is an added advantage.
