Job summary

Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Pvt. Ltd. in Sanand, Gujarat, seeks an experienced Power Electronics Design Lead with a mechanical background to drive R&D projects.

You will lead the design of power electronics products, enclosures, heat sinks, and packaging while coordinating with electrical and firmware engineers. • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Oversee prototypes and testing to ensure adherence to specs and standards.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including BOMs and design validation reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support R&D activities.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in power electronics and mechanical engineering, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support R&D activities and secure necessary resources and expertise.
