Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an HFM specialist to optimize calculation rules, manage metadata, and support consolidation and reporting processes. You will work with FDMEE, DRM, and Essbase to ensure data integrity and performance.

Responsibilities include system maintenance, data loads, and user support via Smart View, with emphasis on documentation and collaboration across finance teams.

Qualifications

• HFM architecture, metadata management and rule writing.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and consolidation processes.
• Hands-on with FDMEE/ODI for data integrations.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data troubleshooting.
• Experience with HFM, Essbase, Smart View and HFR.
• Knowledge of Essbase ASO/BSO, MaxL and performance tuning.
• Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily system support for HFM with high availability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Troubleshoot HFM data integrity and process failures.
• Manage FDMEE integrations and DRM hierarchies.
• Design and maintain HFM reports with Smart View access.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs and test plans.
• Assist with minor enhancements and patch applications.

Role & responsibilities

Deep understanding of HFM's architecture, features, and metadata management.

• Proficiency in writing, debugging, and optimizing HFM calculation rules.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
• Hands-on experience with tools like FDMEE, ODI, or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HFM, Essbase, Smart View, and Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR).
• Knowledge of Essbase (ASO/BSO), MaxL scripting, and performance tuning.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• System Support & Maintenance: Provide daily support for HFM, ensuring high availability and performance, handling data loads, metadata updates, and system health checks.
• Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Support finance teams with budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes, including managing HFM rules and ensuring data integrity.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve HFM-related issues, such as data integrity problems, process failures, and user access issues.
• Integration & Data Management: Manage FDMEE (or other data management tools) integrations with source systems (like ERPs) and maintain hierarchies in Data Relationship Management (DRM).
• Reporting & User Support: Design and maintain financial reports using HFM, along with supporting users with Smart View for data retrieval and analysis.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, test plans, support logs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Application Enhancements: Assist with minor enhancements and the application of patches to the HFM environment.
