Job summary

Tekskills Inc. seeks an HFM specialist to join our expert team. You will leverage deep knowledge of HFM architecture, metadata management and calculation rules to support financial consolidation, reporting and data quality.

You will collaborate with finance to ensure data integrity, manage FDMEE integrations, DRM hierarchies, and use Smart View for data retrieval. Strong documentation and communication will be essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of HFM architecture, features and metadata management.
• Ability to write, debug and optimize HFM calculation rules.
• Strong grasp of financial planning, forecasting and consolidation processes.
• Hands-on experience with FDMEE, ODI or similar tools.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HFM, Essbase, Smart View and HFR.
• Knowledge of Essbase ASO/BSO, MaxL scripting and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication, analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• System Support & Maintenance: daily HFM support, data loads, metadata updates, and health checks.
• Financial Consolidation & Reporting: assist budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting.
• Issue Resolution: troubleshoot data integrity problems and process failures.
• Integration & Data Management: manage FDMEE integrations and DRM hierarchies.
• Reporting & User Support: design/edit financial reports and assist Smart View users.
• Documentation: create technical docs, test plans and SOPs.
• Application Enhancements: assist with patches and minor enhancements.

Role & responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• System Support & Maintenance: Provide daily support for HFM, ensuring high availability and performance, handling data loads, metadata updates, and system health checks.
• Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Support finance teams with budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes, including managing HFM rules and ensuring data integrity.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve HFM-related issues, such as data integrity problems, process failures, and user access issues.
• Integration & Data Management: Manage FDMEE (or other data management tools) integrations with source systems (like ERPs) and maintain hierarchies in Data Relationship Management (DRM).
• Reporting & User Support: Design and maintain financial reports using HFM, along with supporting users with Smart View for data retrieval and analysis.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, test plans, support logs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Application Enhancements: Assist with minor enhancements and the application of patches to the HFM environment.
