Job summary

Role Overview

Alta Performance Materials India LLP invites you to lead the Technical Services function for unsaturated polyester resins and gelcoats. You will support customers, translate technical requirements into effective solutions, partner with Sales through value‑based selling, strengthen technical capabilities, drive application excellence, and support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support, product recommendations, and application guidance to customers.
• Evaluate customer needs and translate them into suitable product and solution offerings.
• Partner with Sales to prioritize opportunities and support defined market segments.
• Lead technical service requests, laboratory activities, and issue resolution.
• Act as a technical advisor to internal stakeholders across functions.
• Deliver customer and internal technical training programs.
• Develop technical documentation and support seminars.
• Travel to customer sites as required (20–40%).

Qualifications

• Level of education & experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with project management experience; people‑management experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations.
• Minimum five years’ experience in composite application support, particularly high‑performance resins.
• Hands‑on experience with unsaturated polyester resins and gelcoats.
• Exposure to reactive polymers, composites processing, and testing.
