Job summary

Roots Group in Coimbatore invites an experienced Head Supplier Technical Assistance to oversee the STA function and drive effective supplier management across casting, painting, coating and CQI processes.

You will lead root cause analysis at the supplier interface, ensure timely 8D reports, and coordinate with Plant Quality Assurance to reassure customers and ensure 'Right Product' at 'Right Time'.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier management and evaluation.
• Familiarity with PPAP and FAI requirements.
• Knowledge of CQI processes and SPC concepts.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis at supplier interface.
• Proven track record reducing supplier issues.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in Supplier Management

Knowledge and experience in Supplier evaluation and approval process, including PPAP/FAI requirements

Knowledge and experience in Supplier processes, including Casting, Painting, Coating & other CQI processes

Knowledge and experience in Root Cause Analysis at Supplier Interface

Knowledge and experience in the Supplier assessment / evaluation process

Effective Supplier Management for "Right Product" and on "Right time"

Minimum turn-around time for eliminating reported supplier issues on Quality & Delivery

Rapid Root Cause Analysis & timely submission of 8D Reports for reported issues at Supplier process

Work in tandem with Plant Quality Assurance function

Confidence to customers on enhanced control on supplier processes

Compliance to CQI process assessment requirements
