Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a senior real estate leader to drive data center expansion across India and global markets. You will oversee site identification, feasibility, land acquisitions, and complex transaction structuring while managing regulatory approvals and governance.

Ideal candidates bring 15-20+ years in real estate, with experience in large-scale land deals, data centers, hyperscalers, and strong relationships with developers and authorities.

• Proven experience in large-scale land acquisition.
• Experience in data centers, hyperscalers, and telecom real estate.
• Extensive stakeholder management with developers, authorities, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute real estate expansion strategy for data center growth across India and global markets.
• Lead site identification, feasibility assessment, land acquisition, and transaction structuring (purchase, lease, JV, BTS).
• Manage regulatory approvals, land due diligence, zoning, environmental clearances, and statutory compliance.
• Evaluate data center sites based on power availability, fiber connectivity, scalability, and risk factors.
• Build and manage relationships with developers, consultants, government authorities, and utility providers.
• Optimize real estate portfolio costs through effective negotiations and market benchmarking.
• Drive stakeholder management and represent the organization within the real estate ecosystem.
• Mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks while ensuring strong governance, documentation, and compliance standards.
