Job summary

Advance Career Solutions in Vadodara, Gujarat invites a Quality Head to lead the plant's quality strategy and drive end-to-end quality controls across incoming, in-process, and final products. You will work with production to achieve right-first-time quality, mentor a 15-20 person team, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.

• Proficient in MS Office and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plant quality strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final quality control.
• Reduce customer complaints, rejections, rework, and scrap.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs and improvement targets.
• Ensure robust QMS for new product development and changes.
• Develop supplier quality improvement with procurement; supplier development.
• Collaborate with production to achieve right-first-time and zero defects.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and audits.
• Lead cost reduction projects using lean, kaizen.
• Lead a team of 15-20 people.
• Develop competency of quality team via mentoring and coaching.

Key responsibilities -

• 1. Developing & execute plant Quality strategy aligned with business objectives.


• 2. Incoming, in-Process and Final quality control


• 3. Drive reduction of customer complaints, rejections, rework, scrap


• 4. Establish & monitor Quality KPIs & improvement targets


• 5. Ensure robust quality system for new product development, process changes and engineering changes


• 6. Develop supplier quality improvement program in coordination with procurement team. Supplier development & Quality


• 7. Work with production to achieve right-first time, zero defect and process capability


• 8. Quality Management System/ISO audits Understanding of quality management system. ISO Audit requirement ISO 9001 and ensure compliance


• 9.Cost reduction projects, lean concepts, kaizen, CII


• 10. People leader handling team size of 15-20 people


• 11. Develop competency of Quality team through mentoring & couching.
