Job Description
Job Purpose: Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring quality standards and project requirements are met. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing resources and budgets, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans including scope, schedules, and resource allocation
- Work with cross‑functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure effective resource utilization and manage project budgets to achieve cost efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to ensure success.
- Over‑see contracts management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates to keep stakeholders informed.
- Implement and enforce robust quality management systems to meet global benchmarks in data centre construction and operations.
- Drive adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards, fostering a culture of safety and compliance across all project phases.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables with AdaniConneX’s strategic goals.
- Manage testing and commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness and compliance with technical specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, risk management plans, progress reports, and project budgets for effective decision‑making and stakeholder communication.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices, leveraging digital tools and technologies.
- Over‑see project completion and ensure a smooth handover to clients.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Civil or Mechanical or Electrical engineer.
- 24+ years of experience in large‑scale infrastructure construction projects, including quality, safety, and commissioning.
- Proven expertise in project management, contracts management, and EHS compliance within the infrastructure or data centre industry.
- Additional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
Type Of Experience
- Managing large‑scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects (example: airports, power, real estate, data centre, advanced technical facilities, ports, etc.)
- Extensive experience in data centre construction, quality assurance, and safety management.
Domain Expertise
- In‑depth knowledge of data centre construction methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Expertise in quality management systems and EHS compliance specific to large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and operational readiness processes for data centres.
Digital & Operational Tools
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools for design and construction coordination.
- Experience with digital tools for quality management, safety compliance, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with most commonly used Microsoft packages like MS‑Word, MS‑Excel, PowerPoint.
Leadership Capabilities
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive high‑performance outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated success in managing large budgets and delivering projects within financial constraints.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills to address complex project challenges.

- Expertise in Infrastructure Construction and Project Management.
- The Head‑Project must possess extensive experience in infrastructure centre construction (example: data centre, airports, advanced technical facilities, real estate, ports, power, etc.), including planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale projects.
- Proficiency in Quality and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Compliance.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and EHS compliance is non‑negotiable for this role.
- Leadership and Team Management Skills.
- The ability to lead and manage diverse teams is essential for the Project Head.
