Job summary

Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd in Jammu is seeking a Head - OSD Packing to lead all OSD packaging operations in a regulated pharma setting. • MBA preferred for leadership/management responsibilities.
• Total experience 15–20 years with at least 3 years in a lead role as packing head in a regulated pharma company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all OSD packaging operations in line with cGMP, regulatory, quality, productivity, and EHS targets.
• Derive production plan and ensure achievement of plans, schedule adherence, and customer commitments.
• Optimize manpower and machine utilization, monitor OEE, and drive continuous improvement and automation.
• Ensure GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR documentation, and quality system compliance.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives and productivity enhancement projects.
• Be ready for inspections, lead risk assessments and investigations related to market complaints and CAPA implementation.
• Reduce deviations, rejections, and customer complaints.
• Ensure first-time-right packaging with zero mix-ups and labeling errors.
• Create, update, and remove destruction material in the system.
• Collaborate with network strategy team and cross-functional teams to resolve challenges in products, supply, and transfer.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead & manage all OSD packaging operations in compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, quality standards and productivity targets & EHS guidelines ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Derive production plan and ensure achievements of production plans, schedule adherence and customer commitments.
